2. Why is Dutch Dixon always typing at a typewriter at the end of each show?
The role of Dutch Dixon was played by the show's Creator, producer and sometimes writer, Stephen J. Cannell. The scene of him typing on his typewriter is shown at the end of all of the programs he has created.

3. I just saw the final episode of Renegade. Will there be a TV movie closing up the loose ends?
Series creator Stephen J. Cannell has expressed great interest in a 2-hour tv movie, or straight to video film closing up all the loose ends left by the show's cancellation. However, due to Stephen's, and the other actors busy schedules any new Renegade material seems very unlikely.

4. In the last episode it talked about Reno intially going on the run in 1989 and escaping from prison in 1991. The show didn't begin until 1992? Is this an error on the part of the writers?
Yes and no. Originally, the show was meant to run for 8 years. This was explained in the "Rio Reno" episode when Reno explained Swede Mason had been chasing him for 8 years. When the show was unexpectedly cancelled by USA Netowrk in 1996, the dates were adjusted by 3 years to meet the unspoken "8 Year Rule."

5. I heard a rumor that the "Bad Seed" episode wasn't the original final episode of the series. Is this true?
Indeed it is. Originally the "Bad Seed" episode was the next to last episode of Season 5. In the episode the confrontation between Dutch and Donny was a private affair and Dutch kills Donny by pistol whipping him to death. When the show was cancelled, the episode was rewritten in the form you see it today.

6. What happened to Dutch Dixon's other children?
In season 3 when we met Donald Jr., Dutch mentioned Donny's brother and sister. What happen to them in future episodes? No one knows. The apparently were written out of the show, making Donny and only child.

7. What's the deal with the video version of the 2 part Fighting Cage episode?
In order to increase video sales, Stu Segall added in several love making scenes, including a lesbian scene. This is not a surprise seeing how before he got into producing TV shows, Mr. Segall produced adult films.
